My "two female" hamsters just mated last night... ?

I need some help. I got supposidly 2 female hamsters n I caught them mating last night. Ive done a lot of research since then. But I have a few questions. When the mom has the babies id like to keep the male in the cage but I read the mom can get pg right away again. I dont want that to happen but I also dont want to separate them cause then they will forget each other. The male is so sweet to the female. If I were to leave them together how many litters would thet have? Ive read that they only have from 3-4 litters per yr n only mate from april till sep depending on the conditions. I am going to be committed to this 100%! They are my babies so what ever I need to do will be dun. Im not some teenager who couldnt care less.... Thanks!
