Could any one help me out on DLA tribunal?

I was ment to have a DLA tribunal months ago for lots of reasons i phoned up the tribunal afew days ago to see whats going on they said they are dealing with cases from nov 2010 but mine was sep 2010 been over a year now they said they have no records of my case think they have lost the records and the have just skiped my case the women who i spoke to said i could to other DLA claim just need some addvice what happens if they have lost my file? and do i have to do other DLA claim i have got all the paper work they sent ment will i have to go through a other year waiting then what if they mess up again.
