Alaska's budget surplus?

It does not. No nation has greater resources and a higher GDP than the United States and yet we are running a deficit. You can find people in America living on $12K a year and they manage to get by and put some money away and you can find millionaires going bankrupt. It is always about how much you spend and rarely about how much you make! Were Alaska run long DC, they would be so deep in the red they would have to start a personal income tax!
