Is this normal for a Admin Sep from USMCR?

I never received my discharge papers, so I filled out form sf-180 and all Headquarters Marine Corps sent me was a letter for recommendation of discharge and a DD-214 from when I finished MOS school and reported to my reserve duty station. Is this normal? Is there no documentation of an Admin sep? I was at this duty station for 3 years if that helps.
